Primary School Gradiška
OMŠ "Branko Smiljanić" is a primary music school in the area of the town of Gradiško. The building is recorded in the documentation of the Republic Institute for the Protection of Cultural, Historical and Natural Heritage and has the status of a cultural property, it is located in the inner city core of Gradiška, in Ulica dr. Mladena Stojanovića, right next to the Sava river and the city quay.
The building was built by the Džinić family, at the time when the Sava quay was being built, from 1903 to 1906. Throughout history, the owners and uses of the building have changed, from Pere Todić's Agency, Vlada Bilbija's shoemaker, through the Cadastre and the National Bank, to the Primary Music School, which started using the building in 2003.
The building consists of three interconnected tracts of P+1 floors, while the basement floor extends below two tracts, it is covered with a multi-pitched roof, with tiles as a covering on the wooden roof structure, while the facade of the building is decorated with facade plastic elements in the secessionist style.
The works we carried out included: creation of a new facade, modification of existing carpentry, modification of parts of the existing roof, structure, cover and sheet metal on the building, installation of thermal insulation, thermal insulation of external walls, reconstruction of water supply and sewerage, reconstruction of existing electrical and mechanical installations.
