Sports complex FUTOG

Sports Complex in Futog, resembling those in major cities, is being constructed in the village near Novi Sad. The construction of a sports complex is underway in Futog, located between Proleterska and Fruškogorska streets, covering an area of ​​about 3.34 hectares, where there already exists a sports hall with arranged access roads and parking.

Within the sports complex, citizens will have access to a single-story indoor swimming pool facility, with a total gross area of ​​over five thousand square meters. The ground floor will house an Olympic and children’s pool, changing rooms, a corridor for spectators, athlete entrance, a café bar, and other accompanying facilities, while the first floor, with an area of ​​1,487 square meters, will feature office space, locker rooms, a fitness room, and a gym. Along the southern facade of the building, seating for spectators will be installed along the length of the Olympic pool.

According to the plan, in addition to the pool, the complex will include open sports courts (two basketball, two volleyball, and two tennis courts), children’s playgrounds, and outdoor gyms. Necessary accompanying infrastructure, an athletic stadium, and extreme sports facilities, as well as numerous other sports courts and fitness facilities, will also be built to support the functioning of the facility.

Construction on the Sports Complex in Futog began in September 2021, with the completion of the entire project expected in November 2023.
