KOTO LTD. began a fruitful collaboration with the global retail giant, LIDL, in 2016. Lidl is one of the largest retail chains globally, with a broad international presence. To facilitate the expansion of LIDL’s business activities in the Serbian market, KOTO LTD. constructed a retail facility in Borča, covering an area of 10,000 square meters. Lidl started its successful journey in the German town of Neckarsulm, and the foundation for LIDL’s international expansion was laid through the development of wholesale activities in the 1930s. From the very beginning, Lidl has distinguished itself by boldly seeking new paths, thanks to its unique business model.

In an exceptionally short period, KOTO LTD. built a modern retail space, while respecting all local and European regulations governing the construction of such facilities. Our dedication to detail and the strict standards of LIDL, which invests in similar projects worldwide, enabled us to achieve this successful project. Through this collaboration, KOTO LTD. also contributed to the expansion of LIDL’s network and presence in the Serbian market.
