COMMERCIAL COURT - Masarikova

This monumental building located at Masarikova Street No. 2, with its long facade fronts, was constructed in the spirit of academicism and is part of the protected spatial cultural-historical area called “Area along Kneza Miloša Street,” which was declared a cultural monument at the end of 2020. According to Prince Miloš’s vision to consolidate administrative buildings, state institutions, military, and administrative facilities in the city center, this rarely preserved public building from the 19th century was constructed. During the second half of the 19th century, the building housed the Construction Directorate and from 1880 the Ministry of Construction, and today it serves as the premises of the Commercial Court.

The successful completion of the reconstruction project, carried out by our team in collaboration with partners, involved replacing the existing deteriorated windows, addressing capillary moisture in the walls, restoring facades with all decorative facade elements, and replacing worn-out parts of the roof.
